1. Acceptance
By using FlowState ADHD at flowstateadhd.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What FlowState is
FlowState ADHD is a free, browser-based reading aid designed for people with ADHD, dyslexia, and reading difficulties. It applies bionic-style formatting to text you provide so it may be easier to read, and offers features like text-to-speech, PDF export, and downloading a file to read on your Kindle. It runs entirely in your browser, requires no account, and is free to use.
FlowState is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical, educational, or psychological advice.
3. Your content
Any text you paste, type, or import remains yours. We do not claim any ownership over your content, and it is processed in your browser, so we do not transmit it to, or store it on, any server of ours.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any text you bring into FlowState. Do not use it to process content you do not have permission to read, share, or export.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use FlowState for any unlawful purpose;
- Use FlowState to harass, harm, defame, or violate the rights of any other person;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the website or its hosting;
- Export or otherwise distribute any content you do not have the right to use.
5. Third-party services
FlowState relies on a few services to provide certain features:
- Your browser's built-in text-to-speech engine (used by "Read aloud");
- Your browser's print function (used by "Export as PDF");
- When you use the optional "From URL" feature, a third-party reading service (such as Jina Reader, AllOrigins, or corsproxy.io) is used to fetch the page you request. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Frankly Studio is not responsible for the availability, behaviour, or terms of these third-party services.
6. No warranty
FlowState is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frankly Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of FlowState, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or interruption of service.
8. Availability
You may stop using FlowState at any time. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the website, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. Provisions in these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive (including sections 3, 6, 7, and 10).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at flowstateadhd.com/terms with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
